Mapping and evaluation of services providers’ potential are part of the stakeholder analysis and, as a rule, include 8 steps:

  • Development of the complete list of the stakeholders in every city of the project (mapping).
  • Discussion over the functions of the stakeholders.
  • Discussion over the resources (available and necessary).
  • Discussion over the stakeholders’ interests.
  • Discussion over the importance and influence of the stakeholders.
  • Defining of the relations between the stakeholders and dynamics of these relations.
  • Discussion over the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the stakeholders.
  • Development of the short list of organizations, which provide or plan to provide services for the following stage of the research – evaluation of the potential of services.
